We have been in the game for over 25 years now in the Barrie and surrounding area – so I think it’s safe to say we know weddings/ special events and we know how to do them right! Whatever party you plan on throwing, we have the perfect menu to keep your guests full with delicious food options.

Colours – Dark and Metallic is the way to go!

Navy blue and metallic golds, silvers, brass and rose golds are the hot colours to look out for at 2018 weddings. You’ll see it in the decor, floral arrangements, bridal party, you name it. According to Wedding Wire and Melissa McNeely, the 1970’s influences in home decor in our modern day are showing to play quite an influential part in wedding colours and focal points.

Wedding Styles – Elegance and classy

Elegance is in, according to Nora Sheils of Bridal Bliss Event Planning. The Jean Jackets and cowboy boots are being traded in for classic tuxedos, sparkle accents and classier, cleaner floral arrangements.

We’re not saying you’re not going to see a few rustic, country chic weddings here and there, especially in the country side, but don’t be surprised if you see a few weddings that are classically designed, decorated and dressed.

Desserts and Treats – Classy and Sassy

Wedding cakes haven’t been the focal point when it comes to the sweet treat after the meal during the past few years. Well guess what – wedding cakes are making a comeback! Couples are seeing this as a tradition that they don’t want to ignore and pass off. So after your meal, prepare for the classic cake cutting to cake in the face tradition.

The Main Event – Personable Meals

Before you can enjoy the treats comes the main attraction – the meal. This is a large and important time during the evening, as it is a time where you and your loved ones can sit down, socialize and enjoy a meal together.
